TRIP PLANNING POLICY / PROCESS
At Marianatha Tours, we design thoughtfully curated travel experiences for individuals, families,
parish communities, and leadership groups.
To ensure a seamless and efficient planning process, we have implemented a Professional Trip Planning Fee Policy.
This allows us to provide customized recommendations aligned with your travel goals, timeline, and budget.
Step 1: Submit a Travel Planning Request
Travelers are invited to complete our Travel Planning Service Request Form,
which gathers essential information required to begin designing your travel experience, including:
- Destination(s)
- Preferred travel dates
- Number of travelers
- Estimated budget per person
- Travel purpose (e.g., leisure, pilgrimage, leadership retreat)
- Preferred travel style or experience
- Passport citizenship and documentation requirements
- Milestone celebrations (if applicable)
Submission of this form does not initiate itinerary planning services.

Step 2: Professional Planning Fee
Once your request has been reviewed, Marianatha Tours will determine
the applicable professional planning fee based on the type and complexity of travel requested.
Planning fees are required prior to initiating:
- Travel research
- Supplier sourcing
- Quote preparation
- Itinerary development
- Group coordination
Planning Fee Ranges (CAD):
Air-Only (Domestic) $50 per person
Air-Only (International) $100 – $150 per person
All-Inclusive Packages $100 – $200 per person
Cruises $100 – $150 per person
Custom International Travel (FIT )$250 – $650+ per person
Custom Group Travel (Non-Pilgrimage) $300 – $750+ per group
Parish Pilgrimage Groups $25 – $50 per pilgrim or $500 – $1,000 per group
(for pilgrimage groups, contact us first as we can waive this.)
A secure payment link in Canadian Dollars (CAD) will be sent to you via email following submission of the request form.
Step 3: Payment Authorization
Travel planning services will begin upon receipt of the applicable planning fee.
The planning fee is:
- Is non-refundable
- Includes one (1) itinerary proposal
- Includes one (1) revision after the initial itinerary is submitted
Additional revisions or requests for alternative travel options beyond the first revision
may be subject to an additional planning or redesign fee.
Step 4: Trip Research and Proposal
Upon receipt of payment, Marianatha Tours will begin the planning process.
Travelers will receive:
- Customized travel recommendations
- Estimated pricing
- Accommodation and supplier options
- Suggested enhancements or upgrades
Each proposal is designed based on the information provided in the Travel Planning Request Form.
Step 5: Booking and Final Trip Preparation
Once the preferred itinerary has been approved:
- Trip deposit is collected
- Bookings are confirmed with trusted suppliers
- Final travel documentation is prepared
Ongoing support is provided until the completion of your journey.
